Over the last several years, investigations by the Standing Committees on the Status of Women (FEWO) and Canadian Heritage (CHPC) have produced concerning testimony by athletes, coaches, administators, and others, suggesting more must be done to monitor and uphold human rights, as outlined in the nation's constitution and multiple UN conventions, in the field of sport.
